I have been here six times, not that I like it so much but it's where the veterans administration sends you. Some visits were good some not so good. It's way understaffed and that makes for some very grumpy people.
The staff is very helpful and compassionate both now and in the past.
I was a patient on 700. Let me tell you cara (tech) is a lifesaver, she made sure everyone was loved everyday while I were there she always had a beautiful smile! She reminded me of all the potential I have and how beautiful I were Although, she was busy and it was only one of her while tending to 17/18 other women with problems , emotions , scared and doing million and one things at a time with NOHELP, and won't complain goodness! she would always make time out for our needs. Even, if I (others) need a Hug, or guidance with such a pleasant voice. I always loved going to commuting meeting because she always motivated us to be what God called us too be. She always said, although its a hiccup in the road your life doesn't stop. She's is the reason why I'll never use heroin again. I'm clean and I'm sober! Great spirit with a great heart . Beautiful inside and out deserve to be acknowledged. She's in the perfect field because she care , not only for me to others ! Thank you so much Cara!! Thank you so much.
I thought the staff was amazing especially Kris and Kristy. I felt like they truly cared and it almost seemed like I was talking to friends rather than Mental Health professionals. I was educated on coping skills, as well as how to retrain my brain and behaviors. I will never forget them, and I am forever grateful!
I love this place! I’ve been going here for a week and I’m already in love. The staff is genuine and Kristi is a true professional. I’m gonna be sad when I discharge from this place.
Having worked in the field of mental health for over 30 years, I have experienced the best, the worst and everything in between. Wekiva Springs Center is my go to hospital for crisis stabilization and acute care for my clients. I have been impressed by their ability to provide support to my clients during the most challenging moments in their life. Moreover, the staff at Wekiva seems to have compassion, inspire hope, and teach their patients the necessary skills required to overcome their condition and improving their overall quality of life.
The week I spent at Wekiva was not exactly great fun . But I am alive and sober today because of it. This was no vacation. They definitely understand what you dealing with and try hard to help you. Their staff is understanding and make you as comfortable as they can
I did a lot of research before selecting Wekiva Springs for my dad's treatment. Because of mixed reviews , I was hesitant to leave him under their care, so I asked for a tour. I was pleasantly surprised. Each person I met with, introduced themselves and clearly explained what they were doing and what facility rules are. Aesthetically, Wekiva Springs is plain but clean and well lit. Their rules are strict and a challenge to get used to. However, we understood what was being done, why and what next steps were. In the end, my father is in a much better place.
I have seen positive outcomes with my patients being treated at Wekiva Springs . It is a professional establishment for people who have psychiatric issues. They usually have same day evaluation appointments . Love that Wekiva usually includes us in discharge planning
This is an excellent program for those seeking help with recovery. It was my husband’s very first time and the staff is phenomenal. They showed compassion and care to him and helped us understand issues that he is dealing with. If he needs help again, hopefully not, but if he does, he will definitely come her for treatment
I have never been disappointed in any of the continuing education events at Wekiva Springs. The registration process is straightforward and easy, the staff always welcoming and well informed, and without exception, the presentations have been compelling and informative. The fact that a complimentary meal is served puts this facility at the top of my list!
Wekiva Springs Hospital is one of the forerunners in Mental Health. I really appreciate the time and effort they place on the community being well educated to assist patients and their caregivers to achieve outstanding goals. Therefore, trained and informed staff members make a successful business for all involved.
Very dedicated and professional staff. All my interactions with them have given me the impression that they truly care about their patients.
I have just completed the 28 day rehab program at Wekiva. I have to say I was very pleased with my experience. The groups were really great and educational. The therapists we really good. I am very thankful for the hospitality. The staff with a few exceptions were really great. The food was decent. Everybody was there to help except a few people which is why I don't give this a five star. But overall I had a great experience and I am thankful for life to Wekiva.

Went there once for mental, helped a lot with my psych logical issues, they actually found out I was being over medicated, my liver was struggling to process the amount of meds I was on. I'm thinking of going back to get mentally right again my nightmares and anxiety from ptsd has been high lately.
I can honestly say that the week I spent at Wekiva was the very best week of my life. One could tell that the therapists and counselors really did care about their patients, especially Gail. Adam in unit 800 was so kind and understanding. He would quickly address any issue that was brought to his attention. It was always a relief to see his smile on the floor. Steve and Elise were great also. I am now enrolled in the Intensive Outpatient Program there and so far that is going really well!! I have never been more excited about my future as I am right now. Thank you guys so much!
